I just got back from Orlando Florida were I attended the Freescale Technology Forum (FTF). It is the largest, most polished, most organized, and technically sophisticated conference I have ever attended. While there I very much enjoyed learning about using uclinux on the Freescale Coldfire and i.MX31.
One of the interesting features new to this FTF is the use of nTag electronic conference name tags. These are essentially small wireless PDA's that have meeting schedules, contact information, conference survey feedback, and other uses. You can also have an electronic business card exchange by pressing a button atop the nTag unit while holding it close to someone else's nTag. Special wireless nTag beacon stations scattered around the conference tracked your attendance.

The forum would have been way too geeky for me but the conference tools sound great. I'm always getting involved with people or events and miss out on discussions that I had every intention to attend.
Thats awesome James. Thanks for stopping by my blog. (Would you like to exchange links, via blogroll?) Thanks.
